This Gem of a hotel can suit your either long-term or short-term vacation needs. I don't have enough good things to say about this place. I stayed in two different rooms and as far as I can tell each room is unique and comfortable. They are all clean and the furniture matches the Victorian theme. Each room is named after some British royalty.... kind of fun. It's a self-check-in type of place, which I happen to like. When you receive your check-in instructions they are clear and concise. It's not like figuring out a complicated puzzle to get into the place. The service is beyond excellent, consisting of Brandee and her team. She goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is what it should be. And despite the location being on Colfax the riff-Raff don't bother you none, and there are no homeless people to step over when exiting the building every morning. I didn't mention the value. Not only is it a decent price, but they don't gouge you with an exaggerated security deposit, charged nightly, like most places do.... All in all....5⭐

I stayed here with the love of my life in 2019, It was so romantic and dreamy and just beautiful everywhere in the building. It truly felt like our home for the 2 days we were there. My love has passed away now, and I think about this place often. I miss those nights with him. I wish I could share another. I hope this place stays open for a long time.

Absolutely lovely, charming, clean, and in a very convenient location. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. It's a creaky old building, probably haunted. But if you're looking for something you need and charming, I recommend this place. The beds were so comfortable! And I was in walking distance to everything I wanted to do.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to review the actual hotel - my review is regarding the service we have not received upon cancelling our reservation according to the cancellation policies in the confirmation email we received. We booked a 2 night stay through the hotel's website for October 2023 months ahead in April. We paid in full at the time of booking, which was fine, since the cancellation policy on the website and in the confirmation email said that we would get a full refund if we cancelled at least 72 hours before check-in. Our event in Denver was cancelled, and we cancelled more than a week before check-in. The hotel employee who cancelled the reservation claimed that the 'computer' was not issuing a refund and she would have to look it to it. I have made multiple calls back to the property in the 2 months since and continue to get the runaround from the only employee I seem to be able to speak to. That person seemed at first like she was trying to help, even suggesting that I would be refunded via Venmo or mail, but most recent text message suggests the owner won't refund at all and she was going to pay from her own funds? Clearly, this business or it's employee is not being truthful and has no intention of refunding the money per their own policies. Totally unprofessional and shady business practices. We will most definitely not book here again.
