Decent location in downtown, though the whole area might not really be the safest... decor was great in the lobby and the rooms, and staff were very friendly (said hello every day, 5*). It was comfortable, but we did have one morning of cold water, not hot water. Other days were actually fine though. For the price I'd expect zero days of cold water! I can't understand why they don't have tea/coffee in the rooms, and they don't really signpost the free coffee/tea for breakfast, you'd have to ask someone. Daily room cleaning was nice, and rooms were a decent size/layout etc. For the price I'd expect at least a basic complimentary breakfast, but I guess they can get away with not providing anything because we pay the prices of downtown SF....

The room lights work pretty bad and I had to turn on several of them in order to have some decent light inside. Also the room felt pretty old. The location is not good since it's pretty close to dangerous areas, and at night it feels unsafe to arrive by walking. About the service, I stayed 5 nights and one time they didn't do the room, which it didn't bother me that much but for the price I was expecting better. Also, I booked a room with safe box and first one they gave me didn't have any, so I had to switch rooms which was annoying. The thing the bothers me the most is that they asked for a card as safe deposit and charged me with 300 dollars that I would supposedly get back at my checkout, that didn't happen and they are not answering the email, and as I'm from another country is not easy to reach them by phone. Overall, a bad experience and they still owe me my 300 bucks.

Very impressed with our one night stay here! Rooms were a little small but clean, they also had bottle waters, and it wasn’t noisy so we slept great. It was too late to get dinner when we checked in, but we loved breakfast at the restaurant, the next morning! We both ordered the avocado toast and the sourdough was 🤌🏼

Hotels in San Francisco downtown tend to be pretty old and expensive. My room was ok, quite small but with everything needed, the furniture was old, but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good with shower and a standard bathtub. The phone and the heating were not working properly, I had to tell the front desk to be fixed and they did it very fast. Everything was clean, and everyone was kind and helpful. Next time I visit SF, I would consider staying there again.

Paid for a one-night stay for my parents to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The Marker charged twice for the overnight parking. I have called twice to have the extra charge removed, and I have not been called back to resolve it. It is now 4 weeks from the original stay and more than 3 weeks since the second time I called and talked to someone about this issue. I have had to do the additional step of contesting the charge with my credit card company.
