We are staying at this hotel for the third time since 2015, we like it a lot compared to what we stayed at before. The district is very nice and quite with a beautiful park just across the road. Nice rooms, design and decor also on top. Very comfortable beds, good cleaning every day. We turn the A/C off because it was too cold for us, quite hard to understand how it works. Overall a very nice experience, but breakfast was much better in 2016, now it is below average compared to the hotel level. Hope this can be fixed.

Location is great, but the air conditioning did not work at all in my room. I did not know this until getting back to my room late at night. After complaining, they put me in another room in which the a/c was barely working. The temperature was tolerable while I was sleeping but still warmer than I wanted.

Stayed in the Mulian for 7 nights. The best value for the price you will find in all Guangzhou. Great location, across the street from a huge green park, 2 shopping malls and 5 min walk from the subway. The hotel rooms are warm and comfortable. Beautiful design, and very clean. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Guangzhou for business, or pleasure.

A beautiful, contemporary design hotel, with relatively clean and comfortable rooms for a China standard...but as usual in China, a lack of service and care about guests and details mar the overall experience. I reserved a window room and didnt get one, and was told sold out, and no discount, though the non-window rooms are less expensive Pluses: large rooms, (too large, bordering on nonsensical for the sparse furniture. Comfortable bed, not a rock as most Chinese hotels. Minuses: No heat (was very cold last night in GZ), no robe, no wash clothes, ratty towels, no laundry bag (not even plastic), and toilet wouldnt flush (and I requested it to be fixed and it wasnt) and horrible breakfast.
