Stayed for one night & did not realize what a great location and wonderful view this hotel has and I have never seen a nicer shower in any Marriott property. Waterfall style and hand held option as well with a super tall ceiling, Clean and the extra detail on the comforter and pillows was a nice touch. We had a group dine at the restaurant as well and our waiter was careful to make sure all food allergies were implemented safely into the preparation and without anyone even asking they realized it was my birthday and brought a candle it dessert out. I would stay here any chance that I got in the future.

Wow! As a jaded business road warrior traveler, it takes a lot for a hotel to impress me. However, this place gets an A+! It appeared very well run, was very clean, and every staff member asked how I was doing. The management team is doing something right! Stayed two nights for business meetings and I'll definitely be back. Location is excellent also. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel but horribly understaffed. Had selected daily housekeeping and they never showed up the first day although they did enter to bring the feather pillows I requested. They were very nice and took some restaurant charges off and even sent a nice dessert plate to my room but then it happened again.

Our experience staying at the Oaklander and hosting our hotel wedding room block was excellent. The location was incredibly convenient, providing a short walk to Heinz Chapel and the Carnegie Museum, making it easy for our family and friends to attend wedding events. The rooms were not only spacious and clean but also offered stunning views. The hotel's pet-friendly policy was a huge plus, allowing us to include several dogs in our party. The 10th floor lobby and Spirits & Tales bar was the perfect spot for drinks and socializing after the reception. The Oaklander team worked with us to reserve the George conference room to set up pizzas after our wedding reception for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, the breakfast at Spirits & Tales the morning after the wedding was the perfect way to end our stay. We must commend Irene, the executive meeting manager, and Jon, the concierge, for their exceptional service to make our wedding weekend even more enjoyable!

We had an amazing stay at the Oaklander the last 2 nights - great rooms, location and parking access! The decor is super chic/modern and would 10/10 stay again when in the Pittsburgh area. I gave service 4 stars because there were a couple of women that worked in the lobby restaurant that were a little unfriendly when we arrived without reservation (for a 9 a.m. breakfast on a Monday), but everyone was otherwise very nice and accommodating!
