My husband was manically looking for last minute accommodation after we had been double-booked by another hotel. After speaking to the GM of this venue, thankfully, we soon realized we had found our perfect place for adventure and relaxation. Not just the property, but the genuine service provided by the staff. We stayed in the ‘Luxury Suite'. It has an exceptionally beautiful bathtub for two, which was a perfect find after a long drive. The room boasts a front veranda with outstanding views of the mountains. One large television, Dstv and Wifi in every room. Modern, clean and simple interiors. We made this our base for one amazing weekend and we both wished we could have stayed longer, but they were fully booked! Andreas did everything possible to make our stay comfortable so that we would enjoy every free minute of our time while on holiday. He helped my husband so much, even drove him to Muizenberg so that he could try surfing. The rest of the staff were also incredibly helpful with superb housekeeping every day, unexpectedly interesting conversations and genuinely kind people. Hout Bay is a beautiful area, lots of vineyards and restaurants within 5 minutes drive. Again the staff at the Platinum Boutique hotel helped with the bookings, suggestions, etc. My tip is to trust the staff’s recommendations, relax completely and have fun, taking indulgently long lunches the many local restaurants, having sun-downers and cheese platters at your favourite vineyard, and then enjoying the gardens back on the hotel grounds, appreciating the big African moon while holding your partner's hand in the evening bliss. Such a special piece of magic.

After a long trip from southerland finely getting to the platinum boutique hotel only one of the 2 rooms were set up till its full potential, the view is breathtaking to say the least . The hotel is well situated for travelling to places in the area. The first night our inlaws had to call the management to bring the coffee stations to the room and the 2nd night no milk was given . The breakfast was average. There was cold meats and eggs with COLD toast and muesli on both mornings My opinion is for +-R2000 per night per room the management could check if the rooms are according to standard and ensure that a PROPER breakfast was made and change the menu for the next morning, put a light on at night or so... They did assist with lagguge on departure. Should have a beautiful view in summer

Well to start of it is a great location. But unfortunately in my opinion if your rates are as the owner says then you at least offer the following: a bed with a proper mattress and not a sponge one. Superior linnen which is ironed, air conditioning, kitchen needs a good clean. And our one bathroom was not Clean at all. Coffee machine in each room but no pods, milk or sugar available! Therfore in our opinion completely overpriced and lacking lots of attention!
