From the moment we stepped into the St. Regis Florence, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The standout feature was the Butler service, which was truly exceptional. They anticipated our every need, adding a touch of elegance and personalization to our visit. The attention to detail, the luxurious ambiance, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made our stay at the St. Regis Florence an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and top-notch service.

A stunning and luxurious experience to decompress and to fully enjoy this city. The hotel is gorgeous and central located, around 7/10 min walk to Pontevecchio, Uffizi, etc… The staff… well, let me say it, it’s what makes this hotel utterly special. I have worked in hospitality for over 15 years and I have a very critical approach to every hotel we stay in, from arrival to departure… I guess it’s a default. Certainly, Sandro and his front office team offer an exceptional service, as well as the Concierge and the food and beverage teams. They certanly know the city inside out, and they will recommend you the best spots. Something you would probably expect from such establishment. However, their warmth, their smiles and genuine care will make and have made the stay truly unforgettable. So, if you are staying in Florence, treat yourselves, stay here at least once!

Overall, we had a good experience because of the location, beauty and appointment of the room. My service rating is explained with examples below. The rooms felt like sleeping in a museum with the murals and finishing touches on the crown molding. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The upgraded room to a suite was especially nice. Really enjoyed the crisp air and the sound of the river. Location was also excellent for peace and quiet. Nice to stroll across the river for a change of pace restaurants that cater more to the local crowd. Having stayed at other St. Regis properties, the biggest difference for us at this location was inconsistency with service from cleaning to turndown to doormen. There was a strike of some sorts one of the days that affected housekeeping. More specific examples of my comments about service (when compared to another St Regis Italian Property), were the small things that added up over a three night stay. Less than half of the time were we greeted upon entering or exiting the property. Most often the revolving door was not assisted. Almost no one grew to know our name or use it except for only when we check in. Expectations of a luxury property are high but relative. As mentioned, we did have a comparison of the same brand, different city. I tried to write this as fair and balanced as possible but with so many options in Florence, I’m not sure I’d stay here again.

I was very excited for my stay at the St Regis and left so extremely disappointed that I would recommend a different hotel when visiting Florence. The best part of this hotel is the location. It is very close to gelato, restaurants and the river. However, the room I was assigned was covered in dust and needed a deep clean. The shower also leaked all over the bathroom floor because the seal was missing. The vibe of the room was going for an older feel and instead just felt very dated and dusty. The service really missed the mark. Besides checkin, I was never greeted or spoken to walking in and out of the hotel - and even on checkin I walked into the lobby and had to wait until they realized I was checking in. Not at all a five star service or St Regis expectation. They keys they give you are so bizarre and I was not aware you’re supposed to give the tassel key to the concierge every time you leave so I just kept it. The staff never mentioned that part on checkin but it seems they hold the keys for you and I’m not sure why? Breakfast was a great spread in a very well kept area. The Marriott Titanium status got me the full buffet and also I was able to order eggs and such from waitstaff - if they stopped by. Overall I was extremely disappointed with the room upkeep and the staff as a whole. I really wasn’t interacted with besides checkin and checkout and having been to the other St Regis locations in Italy, this one clearly lacked the service and upkeep of Rome & Venice.
