Pretty good hotel. IMPORTANT I paid for breakfast and we were told there is No Breakfast available. We were not compensated for this loss. Good balcony. This is an older hotel. Not upgraded or updated. Rustic. But, pretty good for short stay.

I loved my stay here. Great room with mountain views. Laundry service worked perfectly. I also was there during a 6.0 earthquake - nothing fell though so seems like the structures are nice and sturdy. Staff were friendly. One spoke English at a level where communicate easily but everything else was manageable. The hotel is located at the end of the main road - it would be an extra level of comfort/service if they offered bikes. But otherwise I walked. Or there were usually tuk-tuks waiting outside. I was a little worried that there weren't mosquito nets but I didn't find any mosquitos in the room so it was fine in the end.

My friend lost nearly 100USD in this hotel. The hotel didn’t really try to help her get the money back. Terrible experience.

This hotel was fine, but not great. The shower curtain was moldy, the door to the balcony didn't really close all the way, the staff told us breakfast wasn't included in our booking even though all the paperwork said it was (that ended up being fine since the breakfast didn't look good anyway and there is a great bakery next door), all things that are relatively easy to fix but make a difference. There was also no sound insulation to the room, so when the monks start beating on drums at 4am, you will wake up. There was a nice view from the balcony. A bit overpriced for what it was.

Great little hotel - Location, location, location ! Decided to try this hotel and at the same time, didn’t want to pay the Billa Santi, 3 Naga room rates and this little hotel came up on google maps. In the past, I stayed on the opposite bank of the Nam Khan which requires shuttling too and from the hotels there when the bamboo bridge is taken down. Stayed for 3 nights and the location is great especially on a hot afternoon where spending the whittling hours in a cafe somewhere is not an option. Pros: great location, Mountain views - get a room with this mountain view at all cost. Trust me, it’s worth it. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Some niggling problems that were very quickly remedied by the great staff - relocating to another room due to the noise from the kitchen. Cons: No free airport shuttle - would be nice if they could provide one, otherwise the hotel can arrange one for you. I hear that many reviews in the past mentioned the hot water problem. I find this a common occurrence in all hotels in LPB, especially at ‘My Dream’ where I previously stayed. Just run the hot water on for a few minutes and you’re all set. In summary, great location and staff. I will be back, but it would be nice to have an inclusive airport shuttle like the other hotels at this price point.
