We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 because it was quite bad.. the shower water was either boiling hot or freezing cold, impossible to adjust. The fridge didn’t work. Many insects. Breakfast was not a buffet but just a piece of toast bread, two eggs, two sausages and a little bacon.. nothing to choose from. There was a pool table but it was broken (and not normal size) so difficult to play. It’s right next to the beach but almost no people there (we were also the only people staying at the hotel) so very quiet and not many restaurants to choose from compared to other parts of the island.

Small bungalow style hotel. I stayed in 2 hotels during my trip. A much more expensive resort style hotel and the white knot and I preferred the white knot by far. It's secluded but also walking distance to everything from shops, nightlife and gyms. They have lovely staff, a small private beach where the sunsets are to die for and great to read a book and relax. I'd definitely stay there again.

This is how it looks now. From 2018 until today it was getting more worse and worse. The small breakfast was not special but there was a breakfast. Now even the breakfast is not available anymore and there are no table and chairs to have a breakfast on the terrace. They give you a voucher for some sunnyside eggs at the beach bar from the opposite Chang Park Resort. No sunbeds, no umbrellas existing anymore. If you do not speak Thai or have someone who speak Thai, you cannot communicate with the only available staff. I only go here again, because I can bring my dog and they are quick to ask money for the dog. They charge 500 Baht per night for a dog. Aircon working, however cannot change coolness. It is icecold or you have to switch off. The room safe was, is still locked when checked in. There is no daily room service. Today the staff who bring her daughter and probably her husband got a breakfast platter from the breakfast provider which had more on the plate than the paying customer.
