Really nice place... a little more expensive than some in Bangkok, but in this case I think you get what you pay for: nice pool and grounds (they even have small exhibits of theatre costumes and instruments related to the matron and her foundation of the local theatrical school.) Great, quiet neighborhood that is across the river, but so easy to get across with the ferry system (only 5 baht each way!) This hotel is also right between a cool temple (Wat Rakang) and a fun, bustling market (Wang Lang) The attached cafe offers and amazing view and atmosphere right on the river for breakfast or evening drinks. Breakfast spread is quite nice, with rice/noodles, meats, veggies, fresh fruits, eggs/omelettes, and typical pastries... the selection changes from day to day, and some days are definitely better than others.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was genuinely such a great experience. The staff are SO lovely and friendly. The breakfast options were great. We were given a complimentary tart in the fridge in our room along with bottles of water which was a nice touch. Location is cool because it’s in almost a private neighborhood which is very tranquil and the views on the river are amazing. Overall would highly recommend to anyone staying in Bangkok and I wish we could’ve stayed more days here!!

The reception lacked a welcoming atmosphere, as the staff stood by during check-in without offering to assist with our bags, despite no other guests being present. Upon completing the documentation, the staff led us to the room without offering to help carry our belongings. The hotel's pricing seemed quite high compared to the location and room standards. Moreover, the pool was disappointingly dirty, which was the worst part of the experience. Hygiene is essential, and the state of the pool fell far below expectations. In my experience, I've found better value and standards downtown.

Perfect stay at the theater residence. The pool was nice, the whole property was well maintained, it is indeed quiet at night! Minimal downside ac is a little loud, windows are not new, but this only applies to the 2 Appartements in our part of the complex, which are renovated, the others are newly built.. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast was very nice! Totally recommended!
