Excellent location, but that is it. 1)Thida Guesthouse is located next to a popular restaurant that plays loud music until about 21:30/9:30 PM. 2) I was charged 200,000 kip/$11.00 per night. 3). Sheets, pillow cases, and cover were never changed. 4) Room was never cleaned, and garbage was never collected. 5) Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak. 6) Guesthouse is in need of up keep and repair. 7) Staff did not speak English and/or other foreign languages. 8) Making daily payments for the stay was cumbersome given that management was not around to collect the money instead the payment was made to whomever would take it with no receipts issued. There are better places stay in Luang Prabang.

At first view, the rooms are clean. But if you look closer there is a lot of dust. There is no reception, difficult to reach the owner. There are better places for the same price.
