What a magical stay!! We loved every minute of our time at Boulders. The staff is WONDERFUL and we felt so well taken care of by Kirsty, Katie and others. It was such a treat to be just steps away from the penguins and we thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the town’s restaurants and tourist attractions as well. The view from both the room and dining area are absolutely beautiful and there are also lots of cozy areas you can hang out in. The only constructive feedback I have is on the food. We had breakfast every morning and had dinner once, and everything was a-okay. It was all a bit too salty for my taste and none of the dishes blew me away. I think there are probably better dining options in town.

Good location for the penguins and the Cape. Food excellent but good local choices available by car/cab. Our top floor was massive in a classic country style (vs modern) with great views. Being top floor it was susceptible to the high winds. The pool is more of a big hot tub. Other lodges offer comp drinks as part of the b&b rate.

The only disappointment was we only booked for one night! A truly lovely boutique hotel and super laid back atmosphere ❤️ Plus the fabulous penguin experience. Highly recommended

We stayed at Tintswalo at Boulders for only one night last month, and we wish we had stayed for longer. The property is so perfectly located, with a private gate out onto the Penguin Boardwalk, a 3 minute walk to the Sanctuary, and a 5 minute walk to Boulders Beach. The staff was lovely, and upgraded us to the Mayflower room. This was a stunning suite with a view of the beach, a great bathtub and shower, and heated floors. Dinner was excellent, served on the patio with the charming sound of the penguins in the background. Delicious butternut squash soup, curry, and malva pudding, and our favorite South African wine. We just wish we had more time (and warmer weather!) to enjoy the heated rooftop pool, or enjoy a glass of whiskey from their liquor cabinet. A truly magical night. I want to go back!!
