Tokyu Stay Osaka Honmachi

Overall the room was great. Quite clean and well laid out. Not really room for your luggage to be open though. We used the bed every day to get stuff ready for the next day. Hotel breakfast is available too, with decent selection of hot and cold foods. There are nice views when eating as the reception is on the top floor. Only issue we had was the bathroom smelt damp. It looked very clean, but there was a damp smell the few days we stayed. I’ve also noticed with 2 different tokyu stay hotels that the shower water temperature fluctuates when showering.

Stayed with this hotel for a total of 5 nights (3 Solo & 2 as a party of 3). Missed a connecting flight for the first night but room was still available when I arrived the following morning. Location wise was great, there is a 24hr gyudon place nearby and it is near a busy shopping area. Rooms were clean. In the Semi-Double room there's a safe, kettle (keep in mind max is 1/2 the size) and a shower stall perpendicular to the toilet stall. In the deluxe twin room there was a sink in the same stall as the toilet, kitchenette (with plates/cups/cutlery/mini stove) and a laundry/dryer machine. Only concern I had with the room was the door leading to the scaffolding balcony(?) was not locked when I arrived and I had to manually lock it because I was not sure if it was a space that we could step out to. Space wise, it is a bit small to spread out large size luggage but it is doable. Hotel does offer Hands Free Travel and will help with arranging your luggage to be shipped to the next hotel or airport. Just remember to ask when you will need to drop it off by. Did not try hotel breakfast, but floor it's offered on has a very good view of the area.
