Had a stay at Top Terrace Cottage in Nuwara Eliya – a decent budget hotel that offers good hospitality and tasty food. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my visit enjoyable overall. While the hospitality and food exceeded expectations, there's room for improvement, particularly in maintaining cleanliness standards. The bed sheets seemed a bit untidy, and attention to this detail would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Nevertheless, for budget-conscious travelers, Top Terrace Cottage provides a comfortable stay with friendly service and delicious meals. With a bit of attention to cleanliness, it could easily elevate its status among budget hotels in Nuwara Eliya.

Very bad place to stay. Bad service. Unfriendly owner and staff.The food was terrible. We were informed that a cook would be there ,but there was no cook.Rooms weren't cleaned and the place seemed weird not calm. I don't recommend this place to anyone. So don't waste your money.

Super friendly staff but unfortunately we couldn’t sleep well as few other guests were drunk and causing trouble during the night! Apart from that room/ staff and location is super nice and value for money. Could have been better not to sell the rooms for bachelors for parties when families are staying over with kids!
