Room was fine. Breakfast very good! Only prob was not ready for maid when she came and asked if she could return in few minutes as we were eating lunch (we were in middle of hall, so not last room to be cleaned). She never came back....had to track down clean towels for next day....not a good practice for service. Otherwise, hotel was clean.

My family and I were visiting Roswell in August of this year. We were looking for a clean hotel to stay in and thought we had found it. I will tell you the hotel is beautiful however, we asked if we could see a room prior to checking in and were told that we could not. We went ahead and checked in and grabbed our luggage to take inside. I guess I am a little paranoid about staying in hotels and I always check the headboard and mattress first thing. To my surprise there were "ink marks" and a bed bug as soon as I moved the top mattress away from the headboard. We did not want to make a big fuss in the lobby. My husband went to grab the front desk person to show them quietly. She asked if we wanted to change rooms and my husband replied that we were fine changing rooms as long as she knew the room didn't have bed bugs. She then acted like she was upset with us and just told us she was just going to refund us because she could not keep moving us from room to room. We had not changed rooms prior to this. This was an awful experience. I honestly would not have been so upset if she would have had a better attitude. We are very understanding people and know that this is something that just happens in the hotel business. Anyway we ended up staying at another Marriott, the Fairfield. It was very clean and the staff were very polite.

Great location, close to Walgreens and restaurants. The hotel was very close to New Mexico Military Institute, which was where our event was held (within 10 min walk). Somehow we ended up with a disabled room- the bathroom smelled a little like urine, but appeared clean. We had a two bedroom suite, nice and spacious. The suite had small signs of wear and tear, but overall met our objective. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. The fitness center was small, but nice. I did not use the pool, but there were a lot of people that seem to be enjoying it. They ran out of doggie bags, but I brought my own just in case. I mentioned it to the front desk, but they never replaced them during our stay.

Loved it here! Although it was business stay, it actually felt like a home away from home. Prepared my own meals and saved some cash. Every bit helps! The kitchen is the right size for the space as well as the well structured business desk, light and accessible connections and slots for a full day on the Web. The Queen Bed was amazing, the TV and all of its amenities - Netflix, Game Day weekend etc was Awesome. The room was always clean and smelled great after a long day. The comforts of home are words that would best describe this property. Oh BTW, do not skip breakfast 🥞!! Breakfast here is the best way to start a busy day! Eggs, Crispy Bacon 🥓, OJ, busicuits and Gravy, I better stop right here - getting hungry! Early or late just make it in - you'll be glad you did! Comfort and Peace of Mind are well worth the stay! Happy Trails ☺️

We were told when registering the hotel was smoke free on the property. When we returned at night there were 2 people smoking in chairs outside the main entrance as we entered. As an asthmatic cigarrette smoke causes me to wheeze. when I mentioned the smokers outside to the night registration desk worker Towne place suites roswell she said November 11 2023 people can smoke outside and in a recreation area just not in the main building and rooms. I selected this motel because I was told it was smoke free and smoking is not allowed on all the property. I was not told and i asked does that mean no smoking on the property. The Marriott in Las cruces did not have smokers on the property and were truthful in how they represented their policy.
