The Hotel is located in a very central location. Weekends is a nightmare, too loud inside and outside, but during the week nothing to complaint. My Family came to visit and I was a little afraid due all the reviews i read after I did my reservation. I shared my concerns via email with the employees and they gave me the opportunity to check the room before family arrived. With really low expectations I can say, it wasn't that bad. Room wasn't cleaned deeply but indeed it was clean. The sheets looks cleaned to me but they had a lot of stains and/or holes. They came only once to "clean" little the room but after all, room for 8 people it was little messy. Rooms are not that big, toilet/shower good enough. I must say that if you are a picky person you shouldn't risk and looks further but if you are on budget and you are use to travel, it should be ok for a couple of days. Lady at the check in, was polite to me and it was nice to have a chat with her. Tourist taxes and bed sheets taxes are not included on the price you paid during the reservation, so keep that in mind. 4*stars because with this price there is not that much in the city center but if you move little bit outside indeed you will find same price for better services.

Dirty place, bedsheets and towels had human hairs, everything was dirty. We asked them to change the bed sheets and all the ones that were ‘clean’ were in the same condition. I had to put a t-shirt on the pillow to sleep to sleep because this was disgusting. The window was broken so cold air was entering the hole time. I ended up with throat pain. Very tiny room and only 2 room key cards for 4 people. Corredor was also dirty. No breakfast offerer. Common space different to the picture (worse of course) I do not recommend at all. There are much better places in Amsterdam for that money.

The guy at the hotel desk was very polite and cooperative. Kudos to him :) The location is perfect, as it is within the central area of Amsterdam. The disappointment begins hereafter. The staircases - they were an actual safety hazard, especially on the second floor where there's a misplaced stair that, if not careful, will obliterate your shins! Upon arriving at the rooms, there was no ventilation at all. One side of the room with windows was completely shut off, and the other side had some safety feature that would prohibit the window from opening more than 15% of its full capacity. Our room had three fans - none of them were functioning. Consequently, we had to get different key cards from the desk and scavenge functional fans from other rooms. When we successfully retrieved the fans, we completed a tedious adventure up and down the man-made stair master. It was a great cardio session! During the night, the room was BAD. Imagine being a rotisserie chicken, but you are the chicken in this scenario. Safe to say that it was the best Sauna experience, and a great leg workout for our group that I had forgot that this was a hotel. 3 stars for this Hotel seems a bit too optimistic. 2 stars is more realistic as the toilets and location were the main highlights of the hotel. If you have made it this far into the review, there is also a tourist charge soon arriving at the hotel, so yeah.

An old building in the center of Amsterdam without elevator, really small dirty and ugly room and except all the staff it was a lady in a shift who was so rude with an angels face. She was talking so rude to everyone in front of other guests. We stayed 5 nights. They didn’t clean never our room. They took our trash once (we were 6 people in room!!!) and they didnt give us a toilet paper when it was gone and didn’t change our towels. Cold room with broken window. Only two stools and no lockers.

Do you want to check in a hotel with NO ELECTRICITY? Then choose Travel Hotel! Receptionist tried to blame it on us simply charging our phones when it was their heater that was malfunctioning and making the electricity go out in our room. We didn’t have to go out for NYE because every hour the circuit breaker would explode! This is to top it off on their dirty rooms and hazardous staircases
