During our recent trip to Budapest, we spent two nights in the apartment and one additional night at the Treestyle Hostel. Here’s my experience: Positive: The apartment offers good value for the price, albeit the prices do spike considerably over the weekend. We found the room to be clean and equipped with modern amenities, offering comfort and style. A significant advantage is its central location right in the bustling and vibrant scene district, allowing easy access to various popular spots in the city. Neutral: Some aspects of our stay were neutral. The key pickup from the Treestyle Hostel was slightly inconvenient but manageable. The apartment is situated in an inner courtyard which means it's quieter compared to street-facing rooms, however, it is not entirely noise-free. We found the place a bit hard to locate initially and also noted that the only window available was situated above the entrance door, which limited natural light access and views. Negative: Our experience took a downturn during the additional night we booked at the Treestyle Hostel due to the steep price increase for the apartment during the weekend. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with our reservations at the hostel which could have resulted in us not being accommodated in the same room. Furthermore, the hostel is situated directly on the street which brought a considerable amount of noise, impacting our sleep quality significantly.Overall, the apartment offers a generally good experience with a clean environment and modern amenities, especially for mid-week stays. However, the additional night at the hostel did dampen our overall experience due to the booking issue and noise levels. Please be prepared for some inconveniences if planning a weekend stay

Not very impressive. Immediately greeted by stinky bins at the main door. Bed sheets and blankets are not clean, tons of hairs on them. Weird people lurking around here. Pillow is tiny and rock hard. Bed uncomfortable. However the shower runs hot, wifi is acceptable and location is good just a few mins from a tram stop and 10 mins walk to Oktagon. Service brisk. No amenities in the room at all.

immediately in the room the sheets and blankets were clearly dirty, as was the floor, and the shower glass was broken so when showering water got all over the floor, tons of water which mixed with the dirty floor and felt disgusting. There was what appeared to be a bloody handprint on the wall?? The faucet ran non-stop. It was super noisy, constant doors slamming despite seeming there was hardly anyone else staying. Kitchen was virtually unusable, disgusting covered in dust, all the cookware and plates moldy with unwashed food. None of the stove tops worked at all. No soap or anything to even wash the gross dishes. Asked reception for a towel to clean up the bathroom floor and they said we would have to pay even though it was their shower that was broken. Seemed like maybe something shady going on using the hostel as a front.

Absolute dump of a place, very loud as it's above a pub with similar venues around. The shower and toilet smells like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, the beds are uncomfortable. And that complete imbacile of the young guy at the reception desk needs to improve on his customer services skills, and to make sure he knows which email address is still active before telling guests to send personal.details to it. Don't stay here you'll just regret it.
