We were meant to stay here in January 2022 but due to flooding we were unable to make it down. The receptionist went above and beyond given the stay was not refundable. She moved our booking to April 2022 with no extra charges! We had previously stayed there and will continue to as she didn't have to do this. The location is perfect, within walking distance all around Surfers. The car park is very tight and the rooms are dated. Some of the equipment in the rooms need replaced or fixed. Overall though, I am extremely grateful for the help we received.

Worse hotel .dirty blankets . Food on the dishes .if you don't wash your dishes .after check out time .you will get a cleaning fee. don't waste your money at this hotel .

Perfect position. Easy check in process after hours. Nice pool. Bedding ok, kitchen ok and the bathroom could do with an upgrade. Friendly staff, however, the cleaning lady is abrupt and a little rude. I felt the cleaning lady and her partner kept following me to see whether I dispose rubbish into to the correct bin. She really needs to communicate any issues to someone else rather than dealing with customers directly. I will rent again but not if the cleaning lady still there.

Budget Friendly Accommodation In The Heart Of Surfers Paradise! Trickett Gardens is our go-to place to stay when travelling to the Gold Coast. Location, location, location! With the beach at one end of the street, and the new tram stop at the other end, this hidden gem is central to everything! Cavill Ave is literally a 2 minute walk from your doorstep. This 3 storey walk-up has one and two bedroom apartments available. All we needed was the one bedroom, as the two single beds tucked cleverly in an alcove beside the dining room provided plenty of space for our family. Our apartment was neat, cosy, and very comfortable, with the kitchenette well stocked with cookware, cutlery and utensils. Everything we needed during our two week stay. The swimming pool, gardens, and BBQ area were immaculate, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end each day. The staff at Trickett Gardens are so lovely. Going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and all our needs met with efficiency and a smile. Big shout out to Nicole and May, we miss you already! Overall, in our opinion, you will not find better value for money, in such a central location, and with such excellent customer service. We will definitely be back again soon.
