The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures, it is very dark inside and feels like you are going into a cage. The employees at the reception will steal your money if you ask them about one thing. The room was ok but the cleaning team used to only come change towels without cleaning the room. I stayed there with my husband for 5 days and we had the worst experience. First we asked the receptionist were to get a USA plug from to charge our phones he said I will get it for you and charged us 150 turkish lira for each, i went to the store at night and found them both for 50 turkish lira. Second time we asked him for laundry and he charged us 800 turkish lira for a small bag of clothes, we went to Marmaris after which is an expensive place compared to Istanbul and the charged us 350 turkish lira for a full load. I asked him for a taxi from taksim to the Bosphorus he said that the taxi wants 350 lira and he wanted to split the money between him and the driver. He sent a kid to go behind the hotel meet the driver and take the money but he couldn’t because my husband followed him. Everything happened with the taxi was recorded, especially after he called the taxi to ask how is he gonna give him the money and I was translating every single word. The receptionist name is Tekin ( not sure if I spelled it right) he used to work the afternoon shifts when we were there. Be aware of him

The hotel staff at Tulip City Hotel in Istanbul has been AMAZING! All of them have been helpful and friendly. Abdullah and Yilmaz have been EXCEPTIONAL! They both went far and beyond the job description of any hotel staff I’ve ever come across. I am a frequent traveler, having visited over 20 countries. These 2 young men not only told me about all the sites here but explained their history, way to get to each place, best places to eat and get Turkish coffee, even where to get a hair cut which I was very happy with. If they recommend something, take their advice seriously, they know what they’re talking about. I hope you find yourself fortunate enough to stay at the Tulip City Hotel, you won’t regret it. Worse hotel ever , if anyone seeing my review please please dont go to this hotel , rude staff , dark room without any lights, broken fridge without nothing in it , i ask them many times give me water and knife they even bother themselves to give me next day.Overall , if i had a chance i would fire up this hotel . 1 star is more than enough for this hotel

Disappointing Stay at Tolip City Hotel ⭐⭐ 2 stars I recently stayed at the Tolip City Hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. To start with, the rooms were quite small with lighting that was too dim for comfort, making it difficult to find items in the room at night. The windows did not offer any noteworthy views, just the sight of other blocks of the hotel. The cleanliness of the beds was satisfactory, but the absence of any items in the minibar was disappointing. Breakfast was a letdown, with limited items often running out and not being replenished in time. The quality of the coffee was subpar, contributing to a rather unsatisfactory overall breakfast experience. The hotel's gym was disappointingly small, housing just three machines and lacking air conditioning, making it virtually unusable. Furthermore, the terrace was inexplicably closed during my stay. On the positive side, the staff were courteous and the location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from one of Istanbul's best streets. However, the check-in process was strictly adhered to, with rooms being available exactly at 2pm, not a minute sooner. In summary, while there are some redeeming elements, such as the good location and polite staff, I would not recommend Tolip City Hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and quality hotel stay. The numerous shortcomings significantly detract from the overall guest experience.

A hotel with average facilities, but excellent access; It is very close to Esteghlal Street and you only need to walk for one to two minutes to reach this street. The streets around the hotel are full of discos, bars and night clubs. The space of the hotel rooms is small and it is not recommended for daily stay and you can only count on it as a place to rest and sleep. Breakfast is complete and the quality of food and prepared meals is medium to high. In general, the hotel is not luxurious and updated, and probably two or three decades have passed since its construction, so you should not expect the advanced facilities and options of four or five star hotels. The security of the hotel is good and you can safely lock the door of your room in the morning and return to your room at night. In general, it is not the best choice, but it is not bad for a few days' stay in the tourist area near Esteghlal Street.
