Nice Hotel, room was comfortable and had a very nice view. Outdoor pool was also nice. Room service however, can be improved. The cleaning person took our toilet paper, then we had to call twice to get someone to bring us some and extra towels. Having said that, our stay was during a very busy week with Dragon Con event in town. The Hotel restaurant was good. We had their breakfast which had affordable options. However, dinner options were a bit pricey. Nice bar and bar tender as well. Overall it was a nice experience.

We loved our stay at Twelve Downtown. The hotel is modern, beautiful reception and lobby, spacious room with balcony. Very friendly staff. Very gracious to let us check in super early. I loved the great quality beds we got, it was so soft and comfortable, Marriott brands always get it right. The room service team were great, our room tidied up every day nicely. Besides the positives, we did have some issues with our stay. To begin with, digital key didn’t work with the elevator or the room door. The shower faucet had barely any water pressure. The TV in our living room was in its last days. We couldn’t use it with YouTube. The TV would shut down and restart when we tried to switch videos. We got 2 water bottles in the room on first day. But rest of the days, never got anymore water bottles during room service. We had to pay and get them from lobby each time. We got complementary breakfast for being Platinum member, which we really appreciated. But there seemed to be a miscommunication between the hotel and the restaurant. Some days the restaurant gave us $25 credit, another day they said it’s only $12 credit. Despite having a good overall experience, due to these minor setbacks, I’d reconsider my options before picking this hotel again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was so nice when I arrived and my room was not ready. Provided me a water and free item from the snack area. Changed the TV to a game I was interested in watching. The room was immaculate and the balcony was an unexpected bonus on a beautiful weekend. And…the toilet has a soft close lid!!!

My family booked a suite and were disappointed by the low quality of this hotel. There was a foul odor in both bedrooms, when putting our kids to bed there were live bugs crawling under the sheets. We decided to pack up and leave. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, apologizing and offering an alternate room. We declined and he stated we would be fully refunded due to the poor condition of the room. It has been 3 weeks and no refund. When calling the hotel directly I’m told a manager will call back but they haven’t. I have contacted Marriott customer service and they tell me to contact the hotel for help. Save your money, this hotel is not the quality they advertise online.
