Great location, in walking distance to Plaça Catalunya, Casa Battlo and Casa Mila on Passeig Gràcia. Lots of restaurants and cafes/bakeries too. The Suites are clean and everything you need is available, completely catered for self catering with iron/board, washing machine etc. The staff especially Zohaib was extremely helpful, he helped book the hop on off bus tour for us which was really good. Only suggestion I would have is that I had no idea how to work the washing machine, there is a brochure for the machine but all instructions were not in English so I didn’t use it. Thankyou for a lovely stay!

Radically poor on the most important things like a clean, comfy bed and curtains. You pay €280 a night to have a good sleep but management thinks they can save a few euros by providing wafer thin absolutely horrendous cheap €50 mattresses and rubbish beds with critters coming out of it and no blackouts. Avoid this place for the sake of your skin and back’s health, we informed the management and they just shrugged 🤷‍♂️ Also the blackout windows were ripped out and we also got a shrug to having to sleep with lights from outside coming in. I’ve been in hostels with better beds and at least window dressings. The building is nice but having a good night sleep is everything!!!! AVOID!!!!

We had a great time in Barcelona! Fantastic city and we were lucky to chose UpSuites Apartments - very good location, nicely decorated, very well equipped.. all in all, very comfortable and pleasant. Absolutelly nothing to complain. A special big THANK YOU to our reception contact, Mr. Zohaib, who was extremely supportive and nice before and during our stay! We will certainly come again to Barcelona and to UpSuites! Eva & Vlad (06.02-12.02)

The apartment is in nice location, check-in was easy, staff seemed nice, but the quality of the place is just not there. I paid 520 EUR for 4 nights in 2 people's apartment. The reason I am renting out an apartment is to be able to cook food, but when staying here, I had to buy oil, spices, paper towels, etc., to be able to do it, so such "details" are not something they care about. Also photos are not matching the reality (apartment is way darker, lacks light elements), I also found a dirty fork (someone ate of it and just dropped it in the drawer where the clean ones are), so noone is checking how clean everything is before allowing You to register. The apartment had coffee machine, but then again no capsules to go with it, dust was over it. The overall cleanliness of the apartment is just not there, please see added photos(of dirty taps, dirty fridge, etc). I would not stay here again and do not recommend others to do so. I was shocked to know that booking.com reviews are so high, because the reality is different. :(
