Stayed here for a single night when I had the opportunity to visit Bucharest as part of a wider trip to Romania. Booked at the last minute and the staff were able to get a room sorted in really good time and at a really good price. Room was comfortable for a night and the late checkout time (1200) was really helpful. Slightly further out of town than some people might like but a quick walk to the metro station.

I stayed twice at the hotel and I really enjoyed it. It has a great location close to the old town by car, 30 min walking. The rooms are modern, cosy, and comfortable, just like in the pictures. There is not that much traffic on the street since it's not a main street. Also you have many great restaurants and coffees within walking distance. One is coclinta brasserie and ototo coffee shop and store.

Company-booked stay for a few nights - first time at the Venis hotel. Central location, on a narrow side road so relatively quiet. One person traveller, very good overall experience in a small hotel. Squeaky clean place, modern interior. I had a spacious corner room. Top floor, nice view! The bathroom big enough, good shower. Comfy double bed, a small space for a wardrobe. However. No in-room desk to speak of, if you plan to do work here you'd need to sit on the bed and expect back problems after. But the lobby/breakfast room has enough tables, space and power sockets outside of breakfast hours. I've seen people busy there in the evenings. The breakfast buffet is small-ish and lovely. Excellent hummus, some salami and ham, eggs, two sorts of bread. Choco croissants, yum. Good muesli choices, yoghurt, fruit. Orange juice. I liked it, and given the small-ish hotel size this is good enough. Coffee of many sorts can be ordered at the reception, and staff know how to use their machine. Good espresso, nice creamy cappuccino. There is no restaurant. I'd imagine if travelling as a couple this size is fine too, for a few days. Some posher parts of the city are just south of the hotel, so it could be a good place for exploring the city.

Not far from the railway station and with the possibility of paying with a vacation card made us chose this place and we were not dissapointed. The only thing that was off was the elevator. Having booked the 4th floor we had to use ot and it made an interesting, yet frightening, dance when stopping. The service desk was great, we came earlier than the check in hours and they made sure we get the room before the expected hours. They also kept our baggage not to carry it with us until we leave it in the room (could be considered normal behavior, but still want to mention that we appreciate it).
