We recently stayed at Vila Galé, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel claimed to be 4-star equivalent, but in reality, it fell short of that standard. The check-in and checkout processes were painfully slow, with waiting times ranging from 15 to 20 minutes. The room was quite basic, lacking essential amenities like a laundry bag or an iron. When requesting an iron, I was informed about a hotel policy against providing one, and ironing services were not unavailable l. The hygiene during breakfast was subpar; the waiters neglected to clean tables thoroughly, merely removing dirty plates and cutlery, leaving crumbs behind. To add to the disappointment, the bedsheets in the bedroom had noticeable stains. Despite the historical charm of the colonial building, the overall experience did not match the expectations of a 4-star establishment. I cannot recommend this hotel, as better quality accommodations are available in the same price range or even less. The staff clearly needs proper training to meet the standards of a reputable hotel.

Loved everything about. Service was great and accommodating, room was spacious and clean, food was good but I would of liked More options for juices. Only thing stopping me from giving 5stars is depending on the floor rooms you can hear everything going on right next door and outside so it not private enough.

Very poor service. Barely pleasant staff. Very unhelpful indeed. In fact, I don't think I've experienced as bad service in a hotel as at the reception of this hotel before. I would avoid if possible. Ah, and unwelcoming. You would have thought they wouldn't have wanted you there. Surprising, bizarre and not what you would want on any holiday or visit.
