Villa Dinari

Heaven-on-earth close enough to Marrakech but far enough away to be a green, quiet oasis with incredible hospitaliy. The owners Heather and Abdel and the manager Naima and her team won't rest unless everybody is happy - they are always there when one needs them but at the same time wonderfully discreet when you want to be left alone. The place is essentially a lush, tropical garden with a central villa and various little villas built around it. There is a beautiful pool, excellent food, a nicely stocked bar - and everything you need for a relaxed trip. Most people do Marrakech by booking into a Riad in town... however this never gets you out of the noise and the hectic bustle. In Villa Dinari you essentially have a private driver for a small fee who drops you off in the center of town and picks you up whenever you want. The food is exceptional and with the combination of city and garden oasis you can turn a city trip into a totally relaxed experience. By the way... great parking on site... also for overlanders!

When looking for a suitable place to hold our first ever overseas business retreat for our clients - we came across the stunning Villa Dinari - as someone we know had also held many retreats here. What a fantastic find!!! We are absolutely over the moon to find this beautiful gem of a place. What an oasis of calm - only 20 minutes from the busy centre of Marrakesh. From the moment I contacted Heather the owner to enquire, the friendly and professional service I received was absolutely amazing. Heather couldn't have been more helpful, as we planned our first retreat and got ready to arrive. We were totally blown away when we arrived, what a stunning place. Beautiful gardens and grounds. A stunning pool area, with a lovely outside bar and inside bar and restaurant alongside a cosy lounge complete with fireplace. And yes the temperatures varied from 25c and sunny to 13c and chilly - so we made full use of the indoor and outdoor space! All of the rooms are fabulous. Beautifully decorated, very well equipped (they have thought of everything!) and very comfortable. Ours was lovely and spacious, with a great outside seating area. I saw the interior of all of the rooms as we had hired the whole venue for 4 nights and was equally impressed with each one. A lot of care and thought has gone into the whole Villa Dinari experience, you just couldn't fault it. The service from the whole team was absolutely amazing:- from Heather and Abdul the owners, to the lovely Naima, the kitchen, restaurant and housekeeping and gardening team - everyone was so helpful and friendly. And the icing on the cake was the incredible food! Our specially created menu was totally delicious - healthy, tasty and in abundance! They went out of their way to make sure all dietary needs were cared for and were very flexible with us. Everyone one of our clients loved the food, the service and the accommodation. We've booked it again for next year - we loved it that much! We had great fun in the bar with Heather making lovely cocktails. The honesty bar was such a great idea that everyone felt totally relaxed and at home, in fact - no-one wanted to leave! Abdul and Heather organised guides and transport for a trip into town for our large group, we had a cocktails and canapé reception, we had massages and used their lovely Hammam. Nothing was too much trouble and they really went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy, well looked after and totally taken care of. Heather even went to the pharmacy for me when I was very unwell. A huge thank you to Heather, Abdul, Naima and the whole team for providing such a wonderful experience. We loved every moment.
