We stayed there for 3 nights in a very clean and spacious room with a nice little balcony. Everything looks really new, the bed was very comfortable and big. Our kids had two beds for themselfes. They loved playing in the big garden with a nice view of the surrounding area. We had dinner two times after our kids went to bed. We had curry two times and it was very tasty. our kids had spaghetti Bolognese and lasagna and they liked it too, and they both eat only if it's just like at home :) i tried the italian food and can only confirm that it tastes just like original italian food. Perfect for kids. Alwis helped us in every kind of way and was extremely kind to us an our kids. We had awesome breakfast, which was different every day. And he really knows again what children like and don't like. The villa is located a little bit outside the city center, but we liked it there because of that. It's a quiet neighborhood but only 10min tuktuk ride to the center, wich was perfect for us. He organised tuk tuks, taxis, and beer for the dinner. We had the absolute best stay during 3 weeks in Sri Lanka!! Thank you!!

Fantastic, hidden gem of Kandy. Cleanliness at its best. Friendly staff, specially Mr. Alwis is always there for us. Delicious food (perfect Italian cuisine) made our stay adorable. Garden is very nicely designed. Calm, peaceful environment. Had a fantastic time in villa nuova.

Great place, very comfortable, clean spacious rooms that looks brandnew, and most of all very friendly and helpful staff. Alwis (and his sweet mom ;) will do anything to make your stay the best they can. When we were lost with the tuktuk, he came to pick us up immediately. The hotel is a bit further away from the centre of Kandy. But actually it's much better, the centre is very crowded and the hotel is only 5 minutes with a tuktuk away, in a green and peaceful surrounding. Last, but not least, the prices are more then friendly for what you're getting. So, do yourself a favour and stay here when you visit Kandy ;)
