What a wonderful experience we had at Villa Orleans in Amalfi! Gerardo and his wife are such wonderful hosts. The breakfast every morning is fantastic overlooking the sea. You must be prepared for steps down to the hotel and to walk into town, good workout tho!. Taking the bus back is 10-15 minutes but only cost €1.50 each way. Rooms are clean and have daily service. Views are beautiful!

We've had the best start to our honeymoon staying at Villa Orleans. Gerardo is the perfect host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time in Amalfi. Him and his team were really helpful and gave us all the advice we needed to get around the coast smoothly. Staying here was idyllic, it's such a tranquil place with sun beds for more than all guests, an amazing view from the infinity pool and a breakfast view second to none. This has definitely been the best holiday we've ever had and would absolutely stay here again. Also, the walk to and from Amalfi town centre is beautiful, it's a must do.

We stayed here for 12 days , I would highly recommend it . The location is more residential, up the hill from Amalfi town center ( piazza) which was ideal for us . We wanted a more relaxing and serene location , this hit all marks for us . Gerardo the host and owner is awesome , his knowledge and recommendations were so helpful for us plus he is genuine and down to earth. The breakfasts are a feast for a king and every morning started with a cappuccino without me even having to ask . The views are breathtaking , you feel like you are up in the clouds . The villa is simple yet far more than we anticipated. The place is impeccably clean , we loved sitting on the terrace and we used the infinity pool quite a few times . You are surrounded by olive , fig , lemon and kiwi trees which we found so beautiful. The villa is 125 steps down from the street but the bus stop is right in front which was convenient. You can walk down to the Amalfi center and the beach as well , there are several steps involved so get your legs ready but after a few days of doing this we loved the exercise we even felt as though we could enjoy all the exceptional Italian food we devoured. Up the hill are several restaurants, a market and gelato place in Pergola which we loved going to , you can walk , take the bus or Gerardo contacted for a car ride up and back. We loved it here and would definitely return over and over again !!

Everything about Villa Orleans is perfect! Gerardo and his family are the most perfect hosts, and really go above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. Villa Orleans is spread across the Amalfi mountain side, specifically in Pogerla. They have 5 rooms/suites, several terraces for use, pool, and a really lovely breakfast terrace. The rooms are clean and each have their own private terrace space. The entrance to Villa Orleans is roughly 120 stairs to the entrance so bring your tennis shoes, but Gerardo will be there to help carry luggage if needed. Amalfi is a quick bus trip down the mountain (15 minute ride) from Villa Orleans, and bus tickets are 1.50 each way. We absolutely loved taking the bus, it was easy and allowed us to really see the town and community. We highly recommend Villa Orleans!

FIVE STARS. Everything about our 7 night stay at Villa Orleans was perfection. Tucked above on a mountain and away from all of the chaos and tourists of the Amalfi Coast, you feel like you're living in a village amongst the clouds. Views are plentiful from every inch of this quiet and quaint property. The rooms were spacious, clean, updated, had a functional and strong AC system. Each room also has a private terrace -- you can't beat it. I was traveling with my best friend and we did not feel tight in our room at any point. There was a delicious breakfast spread every morning (eggs made to order, fresh fruit, coffee, pastries -- you name it). Bring your comfortable shoes to walk down the mountain to get to the city center (takes about 30 minutes) - but trust me it is worth it. The views are gorgeous! And on your way back, there is a bus that drops you off right at the entrance on the main road so that you don't have to walk back up. Bus system is super easy to navigate! Gerardo and his wife made us feel like family throughout the stay. They are so kind and hospitable, I genuinely cannot say enough about my time here!
