Loved this hotel! The staff is friendly, the room is spacious and new with a great view to the river, the breakfast buffet (15€ per person) has a good choice of local food and tasty Nespresso coffee. There is an amazing terrace with a view to the Guggenheim museum and the location in general is great! Minibar has a nice choice of local snacks and we've received a delicious compliment when we arrived.

Booked a junior suite with river view, checked in room totally deviated from Website images. Surprise there is no evacuation plan in the room, this is non compliance to fire safety guidelines. Corridor leading to the rooms and the room are cold in the month of December. The heating system performance for Corridor and room is poorly design with poor heating system compare with the Main Lobby which provided comfortable temperature. There is no thermostat to be found in the room. This is an essential for an even distribution of heat system or air conditioning. The room heating/cooling supply and return grilles is side by side and formed within 700mm to 800mm length which expose to high level of uneven air flow based on the supply air and return air close to each other. Surprising to discover Bathroom room exhaust also not functioning. Good performance aircon/heating system and bathroom exhaust system are all basic essentials to provide comfortable environment for the Guests. NOT just a nice interior finishing. It looks like the Mechanical & Electrical systems are ageing or in progressive detoriating condition that the bedside reading wall light not able to turn on light. Hotel hospitality strategies for a front desk is to hire and train the right staff which unfortunately the night shift front counter staff services is inefficient and lack off hospitality training compare with day shift friendly check in staff which helpful and welcoming. The night shift counter staff lacking positive attitude and provide no solution to resolve the highlighted issues. They offered to downgrade room to Standard Room as all Junior Suites fully booked or to change room for the following day 'Or' to provide extra blankets as Service Techician not available after 7pm. This is not providing positive solutions but compromise solutions to the Guests. We waited 2 to 3 hours to warm up the room based on temperature set at 28 degree above and the end result is an Unbalance Air Flow system within the room. What An unpresent experience to stay in this hotel.
