First time in S Africa and delighted with our 3 night stay at the end of our trip. Charming staff and great service. Enjoyed many meals in house and there are also good restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful gardens and jungle area around the stream giving a country atmosphere. Local wildlife includes some friendly tortoise, chattering toads and bird life, all adding to a most relaxing stay. Downtown such as the V&A waterfront is a bit of a ride, but Uber is quick and efficient and only about £8 as is the airport in the other direction. Can highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem! Staff are friendly and always welcoming, the location is perfect and scenic. The gardens of the hotel and the facilities are top quality! If you get tired of sitting around, there’s a number of great local pubs coffee shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Cannot wait to go back

I am a local to Cape Town but have been to hotels in many different countries. This establishment ranks very high for comfort, staff and value. I enjoyed the stay at the Vineyard thoroughly. Central location but also with a great view and exquisite gardens. The hotel has plenty to offer regarding facilities and cuisine but the crown is the service from the staff. The staff were super accommodating and helpful.
