Room was excellent, spacious, quiet and with a surprise balcony (not sure if we were upgraded..). Location was perfect for exploring old town, castle and beyond thanks to its central Mala Strana location with tram and metro within a few minutes walk. Breakfast was good but gets repetitive after a 4 night stay, in a gorgeous underground room. The hotel is even nicer than the pictures suggested and the service couldn't be faulted, we were made to feel very welcome.

They were lovely and accommodating, but never in my life have I paid so much for an adult-sized bedroom, and got a tiny twin bed that was literally ground level. There was no room, and the bed was wedged in a foot from the window where promptly at 6:15 AM jackhammering started 3 feet from my head. If you pulled out the chair because you didn't want to sit on the bed, you couldn't open the bathroom door or if you moved the chair, you couldn't open the door to either the hotel room or the closet. That is not a hotel room and certainly not a hotel room that costs over $250 a night.

Fantastic location, a great room and lovely staff. If you want to stay near the castle it's a great option, and also is very easy to walk to most attractions

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Waldstein. Everything was just perfect: located around the corner of Charles Bridge yet quiet, parking right outside the hotel, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was simple but quality, staff was friendly and helpful, especially Michaela from the reception made us feel at home. I was surprised how good this hotel was for the price we paid. Thanks!
