I would not recommend this hotel, due to several reasons: noisy nights (due to close proximity to Istiklal with its bars and clubs), uncomfortable beds, rooms that are not satisfactorily cleaned, dirty and patchy bed sheets, and problems with the water pipes. We actually encountered both leaky pipes in our bathroom and a complete lack of water when we needed a shower. Some of the staff were helpful, but we also experienced one receptionist with a hostile and rude attitude towards us. We ended up moving to another place. I give one star mainly because we paid quite a lot to stay at West Palace hotel, and with all these faults, the value for money felt really bad.

A simple hotel which has all the basics you need if you are looking for an affordable and central hotel as a tourist. Location is great as it is right of Istiklal street. Rooms are basic but okay. Girl from reception/breakfast was very nice and helpful. If you’re an early sleeper then the loud music in the street at night could be an issue.

Stayed for 3 nights in the hotel and the experience was great, The AC was really good and the beds were really comfortable, service was great as well, and the rooms were cleaned everyday, especially Nasmeena she was the most helpful and kind most of my credits goes to her she worked so hard to keep us feel at home and safe. I definitely recommend going you guys need to have a chat with nasmeena you will enjoy it, overall it was a 10 star experience because of Nasmeena, not only that but the other staff were really nice and helpful, the hospitality was through the roof.

I must say this is the most unclean hotel I have ever seen. The dining area is dirty with scratches and dust on the table. We had to wait 3 hours for the room we booked couple of weeks ago and later realized the air conditioner had water dripping out of it. They tried to fix but it was too late after waiting for 3 hours to get the room. Also, the staff at reception lied about the availability of the room we booked which was in use by their own staff who was working at the bar in the lobby. Overall very bad experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially people with kids. The location is great but note that you will get better hotel at the same location with great standards which we experienced after cancelling our booking with them.
