Loved the location right next to Taksim Square with tons of stores and kebab shops. I stayed in a female dorm (4 beds-no bunks) for 3 nights. Mattresses lift so people could put their packs under it with ease. Super useful because there was no other storage. My only 2 complaints were there was no AC in the rooms (windows open all night and it was very loud) and daily there was no toilet paper in the single shared bathroom. But the staff was super nice and the location felt safe for as a solo female traveller. Would recommend and would stay again.

Windrose Hostel is the best place I can recommend if you're looking for a nice and affordable place, right next to Taksim and istiklal! The staff are very nice and friendly and very helpful. I stayed in a female dorm room(4 beds), the beds were very comfortable and clean. The place was very safe and nothing made me feel unsafe or uncomfortable during my stay there.

The price for this accommodation was really great considering it's located in a peaceful area with a positive atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly friendly and kind. I highly recommend staying at this place
