Wine Apartments Florence Merlot

I really enjoyed my stay at Borgo Ognissanti and would highly recommend it - it has been the perfect apartment for my stay in Florence. It is very well located - only about 20 mins by tram from Peretola airport, less than a minute walk to the Arno river and just 10 mins walk to the centre. As well as being extremely convenient for all the main museums and sights, you can really feel like a local with lots of excellent local shops selling delicious fresh produce and just a wander over the bridge to explore authentic, non-touristy areas like San Frediano and Santo Spirito on the altrano. It’s also perfectly located for a morning or evening stroll by the Arno or in Cascine Park. The apartment itself is very charming and traditionally Florentine with high beamed ceilings, white-washed walls and lovely antiques. The big windows overlook a nice neighborhood street - from which you can hear the church bells of Ognissanti and smell the delicious bakery downstairs! The apartment has everything you need - a very comfortable bed, lots of hot water, air con and a little kitchen which I found perfect for cooking all my meals when not exploring all the wonderful local restaurants in offer. Booking with Billy was very easy and he was very friendly and accommodating and Bea welcomed me to the apartment in a very friendly way and answered any questions I had, as well as arranging excellent cleaning services. I would definitely come back again - I don’t want to leave! It’s the perfect base for exploring the beautiful city of Firenze!
