While its location is really good if you have an event in Bogota’s Convention Center, there is NO way you can consider this hotel a 5-star one. The rooms are outdated, electric outlets didn’t work and lighting is terrible. The cable tv got stuck in a channel so I couldn’t use it. Beds are ok, though. The breakfast is TERRIBLE. Not a single vegetarian option, not even some vegetables, and the presentation of the dishes needs be improved. Everything looked like second-hand food, very messy and dirty. Lastly, while the front desk staff is really nice and kind, I was expecting a package that didn’t arrive on time and the only solution that was provided is to send someone to pick it up because I couldn’t pay in advance for a delivery… I’m sure in a 5-star hotel this would have been taken care of properly. Lastly, the hotel offers a free transfer service to the airport every hour and is very strict informing that any service request out of the schedule will have an extra charge. I let the front desk knew in advance that I needed a transfer service at 12:30 and when the time came up the transfer driver was having lunch and the transfer departed 15 minutes late and the van broke and stopped for some minutes in our way to the airport. Guess I should be compensated for the delay and lousy service, though I will not.

Good hotel, very safe. Breakfast is big with daily changing options. Would definitely recommend it. The only negative aspect is the tip the staff asks you daily at the Breakfast.

Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The desk is unstable and wobbly. Its located in front of the US embassy so location-wise is very convenient if you need to go there. In general terms the restaurant is not good at all. However there are several restaurants around so there are alternatives.

This hotel Wyndham Bogota just keeps getting better and better. Shuttle drives is the first impression you get of the Hotel. The stag is amazingly friendly. Security is everywhere and a tight eye is kept at all times to assure safety to the traveler. It’s located in a square of restaurants business and the USA embassy across the street. Great please. Side note; the breakfast set up is amazingly good you can order eggs personalized or a meal if you don’t want to eat from the buffet. Wyndham Bogota has really captured my attention. Request a Balcony view if possible you will not be disappointed.
