Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown

I've stayed in tens of hotels, motels, Airbnbs and this was not a pleasurable experience. Upon arrival, check-in time was fun and relaxed as the manager and manager in training that we first encountered both had a fun personality. We had questions and asked from recommendations around the area and they pointed us in excellent directions. The room we were upgraded too had a decent view of the city. Unfortunately, that is the full extent of the positive aspects we had. One of the elevators was really fidgety/not working, leaving me on a floor for 10 minutes until another elevator stopped at the floor I was on. I had to take stairs to reach my room, and then I had to come back down because my card was having issues. This happened 3 times in a one night stay! After the first card issue the manager and manager in training upgraded us to a higher floor/Jr. Suite which was kind and appreciated, but that room immediately had card issues as well. The morning after, I was granted a late checkout. My partner and I were moving in and out of the room moving bags while the housekeeper sat RIGHT NEXT to our door and stared at us every time we walked by. This housekeeper also was on their phone playing videos with their phone speaker. We heard him from inside our room. To be courteous, we simply left the room and had our bags in the hallway while we fixed up the last of our things, we were in that hallway for about 10 minutes until we went down and left the premises. On the road, I made the realization that I had forgotten my iPhone charger, so I called the hotel. Housekeeping told me no one had turned anything in, not even hours later. The man outside our door had an iPhone!! They offered one they already had there, and when we picked it up, it wasn't even the same charger. When all was said and done, I called a manager to share my story just to feel heard. The manager did not give me the time of day. She said sorry that was your experience and refused to listen to me. What a terrible time.

My stay at the Wyndham was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so incredibly helpful and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay perfect. I cannot say enough about the assistant manager Tiffany. She worked long hours but was so pleasant and did everything to make our stay perfect. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is.
