This Riokan is splendid. The rooms are cozy and well adorned. It is located in one of the best places to visit Kyoto Temples. The staff is very kind and really made us feel welcomed. They offered us a much appreciated green tea at arrival and desserts in the evenings. Recomended!

Amazing experience, highly recommend it! The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom included a big private bathtub and shower room. They welcomed us back in the evening with fruits and dessert and they had the bathtub prepared for us. A kimono wearing ritual was included in the price (got some fantastic pictures out of it!). We opted for the traditional breakfast as well and it was delicious.

This is my happy place. If you stay here you will feel like royalty. I wanted to go again this year but the 'rona interceded. The service is unbelievable. Discrete, efficient and stellar. The food is top notch. Breakfast alone was in a league by itself. The rooms were beautiful and the surroundings were dreamy. We used to go for a run to the river every morning. Good, central location close to tourist must-see destinations. To this day I think of the bathtub downstairs and feel sad that I'm not there. World class accommodations all over.

It's a pleasant to stay in yadoya manjiro hotel. They treated me like a VIP guest. Although it may not look much from the front, once inside I am greeted with a stone pathway leading to the front door of the hotel. Hospitality is top notch; they carry the bags up, serve us desserts, any inquiries they will address it almost instantenously. When you book a room, what you got is the whole floor with a wide living room, bedroom, personal bathroom and toilet. What makes it special is the close proximity of yadoya manjiro to Kiyomizudera temple, which is one of the famous temple in kyoto. Moreover, the hotel fees includes kimono rental. Hence, you can practically go to kiyomizudera temple with style. To sum up, I highly recommend yadoya manjiro to any guest mainly due to the great hospitality, strategic place and cozy rooms.
