The lodging facility was above our expectations with great views and very comfortable beds, and cleanliness. The dining options offer excellent service, and very fresh foods, at a reasonable cost. A great location withing the Grand Canyon Village, easily accessible to a variety of activities, hikes, and exploration of the Grand Canyon. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was such an awesome stay here. This lodge is located inside the national park itself. It is just a few min drive from the grand canyon view point or trail. The Mather point is less than a mile away. The rooms were clean with AC and had extra winter blankets as well. Rooms also have kpods for coffee. The restaurant and tavern is probably the best part of the lodge. Great menu options and reasonable prices. Please note that the lodge rooms are different buildings than the check in one. so you can skip getting luggage out of the car when you go for check in. As you will drive again around 1 min for stay rooms after check in.

Great lodge close to the transit hub and heart of the park. Rooms (and particularly the beds) are what you would expect from a National park lodge - well maintained, solid, built to last. Some confusing signage about parking but cleared up with front desk that parking is allowed in the lot in front of your room. Great location - minutes to Yavapai Point, an advantage I leveraged through multiple trips to take star trails. One star dinged as in today’s day and age one would expect a lodge of this scale to have some WiFi for the visitors - particularly since this park and surrounding 100 mile area in general has some of the worst network connectivity anywhere in the US.

Yavapai Lodge provides great accommodations and short walk from the Grand Canyon South Rim. The rooms are concrete block construction and upgraded with modern appointments. Two double beds in a pair of adjoining rooms allows larger groups to be able to conveniently share space. Generally low lighting in keeping with the Grand Canyon as a dark sky park. Bathroom has low flow faucets in keeping with water conservation do not get in the way of keeping yourself clean or getting a drink. Housekeeping does not make up the beds after you’re in the room.

Excellent and nice rooms with AC and Heater, looks like the lodge was recently updated. Excellent location with quick access to their own lodge cafe/tavern. Yes, it’s super dark at night but don’t mind it at all as they have a special program to preserve the darkness and avoid light pollution here in the park, if you need more accommodations then find place outside of national park then. The biggest complaint would be room service, they are supposed to change towels, take out trash and replenish coffee but it wasn’t done, had to call and request to bring towels and bring some non decaf coffee cause all coffee except one capsule was decaf.
