ZAZZ Urban Bangkok

Stayed here for 1 night to attend concert at Show DC. Walking distance about 5 mins to Show DC which is very convenient for a solo traveller like me. Although you would need to cross the highway, I still felt safe since the area is always surrounded by people. The RCA Alley which is an area with clubs and bars are just across the highway as well. The room is spacious and clean. Everything in the room was more than enough. They had robe, mini fridge, safe box and hair dryer. Dental kit upon request and soaps are provided in pump. My room was on the 6th floor and ZOOK Bar was just a floor above but I didn't hear much noise from it and was able to sleep well. There is also a condominium beside the hotel known as TC Green, and there is a 7-Eleven there. Very convenient for late night meal after the concert ended. A deposit of 1,000 baht required upon check-in which is also payable by card. Check-in and check-out was smooth and the staff at the receptionist could communicate in English very well. Really satisfied with this hotel and highly recommended!

I recently had the misfortune of visiting ZAZZ Urban Bangkok, and I can safely say that it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a rooftop bar. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like I was transported into a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. The first strike against ZAZZ Urban Bangkok was their complete lack of payment options. In this day and age, it is almost unheard of for establishments not to accept credit cards. However, ZAZZ Urban Bangkok seemed to have an aversion to modern technology and insisted on only accepting cash. As someone who rarely carries cash, I was left feeling like a complete and utter bum, as I had to scrounge up every baht I had just to pay for my overpriced drinks. Speaking of overpriced drinks, the prices at ZAZZ Urban Bangkok were absolutely exorbitant. I don't mind paying a little extra for a fancy rooftop experience, but the prices here were downright insulting. The drinks were watered down and lacked any semblance of craftsmanship. I choked down my watery cocktail and felt as if I had been robbed of my hard-earned money. The service at ZAZZ Urban Bangkok was a whole other level of terrible. The staff seemed disinterested and apathetic, as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to spend my money there. I had to wait an eternity just to place my order, and even then, my drink took so long to arrive that I began to wonder if they were growing the fruit for my cocktail themselves. To top off this dreadful experience, the ambiance at ZAZZ Urban Bangkok was just plain depressing. The music was too loud and obnoxious, making conversation virtually impossible. The atmosphere was as cold and uninviting as the staff, and I felt more like I was at a frat party than a sophisticated rooftop bar. All in all, I left ZAZZ Urban Bangkok feeling utterly defeated and emotionally drained. Not only did they refuse to accept credit cards, leaving me feeling like a penniless parasite, but the overpriced drinks, abysmal service, and dismal ambiance made me want to crawl into a hole and never return. Save yourself the misery and find another rooftop bar that actually values their customers. ZAZZ Urban Bangkok is an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
