Real-time RT–PCR is a nuclear-derived method used to detect the presence of specific genetic material in any pathogen, including a virus. RT–PCR is one of the widely used testing methods for detecting the COVID-19 virus.
Currently, the RT-PCR test is not mandatory for vaccinated individuals entering Ahmedabad via domestic travel. The airport strictly adheres to Government guidelines. It is advised to follow the updated guidelines about the RT- PCR test requirement as per the situation.
