Belgaum Airport or Belagavi Airport (IATA: IXG) was built in 1942 by the Royal Air Force, and is the oldest airport in the state of Karnataka. It is located about 16 km from the city centre, and has a single terminal that operates domestic flights to all the major cities in India.
