About Raipur Airport

Raipur Airport, now called the Swami Vivekananda Airport (IATA: RPR) is in Mana, located about 15 km from the city centre. It is the main airport of the state and is on the list of the 35 non-metropolis airports that the AAI (Airports Authority of India) recently renovated. The airport was renamed Swami Vivekananda Airport on 24th January 2012, honouring the great saint who spent much of his life in this city.
