Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, or Hyderabad Airport, serves the city of Hyderabad in Telangana. The IATA code is HYD and the ICAO code is VOHS. It is located in the Shamshabad neighbourhood, about 25 km away from the city. It is one of the busiest airports in Asia. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was inaugurated in 2008 and replaced Begumpet Airport, which had space constraints.

The airport has one integrated terminal. There is also a dedicated freight terminal, and the airport is served by two runways, one of which has an Instrument Landing System (ILS) facility. Golconda Fort
