Birsa Munda Airport, also known as Ranchi Airport (IATA: IXR), is the main airport serving the city of Ranchi. It is located 5 km from the city centre. The airport is named in honour of one of the greatest Indian freedom fighters, Birsa Munda. It is currently operated by the Airports Authority of India.

The terminal building covers 19,600 sq m and has two aero-bridges.
