Budget hotel. Rooms are quite small. Very close to Manipal hospital. Free breakfast is provided.

Hotel is clean and newly constructed. Rooms are not much big for family, if you coming alone then room size is fine but don't expect bigger room. For breakfast we need to go other hotel which is very near but it's fine no issue. Hot water come 24 hours with Smart TV in each room. Wifi is pretty fast and free of charge , Ac is good and chill in few minutes. Location is good and near to every attraction. They don't have In-house restaurant but Udupi restaurant is just beside this hotel so no need to worry about lunch and dinner.

Was alloted a Ground floor room adjacent to a local cricket ground. The guys at the reception changed it for us in a few hours. Clean and well maintained rooms. New building. Everything was amazing. Extra towels and pillows would be great. And Toiletries can be provided too. Couldn't find the geyser switch, so turned on all the visible switches and went to take a shower and the water was still cold!

This was my third stay at Greenwood a press. First two went without much issues but what set me off in the wrong turn is their LACK OF CLEANLINESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. The room was FILLED WITH NASTY BED BUGS AND DIRTY LINEN. They haven’t cleaned anything after the last person. My whole night was RUINED WITH BED BUG BITES and I’m someone who has skin allergies. By the time I checked out, half of my body started having mild allergic reactions. I remember spotting and killing about 8-10 nasty he’d bugs from this pathetic place. For those of you who don’t know, bed bugs thrive at dirty spots and drinks your blood after you’ve dozed off into a sleep. I let the front desk know about the issue while checking out and THERE WAS NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FROM THEIR SIDE. Instead, I was given a smirky facial expression by the unprofessional receptionist. Shame on you Fabhotels and Greenwood Xpress, I will make sure nobody I know would come there even by mistake. Imagine paying 2k for a whole night just to get bitten by a nasty insect throughout. What a pathetic place to be! Attaching two images I clicked from there.
