It is a good hotel for a short stay. Location is good as it is very near to airport. They have parking too. Rooms are on the smaller side and I missed a dedicated work desk that you find in most hotel. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is good and the staff is very polite and hopeful.

We were especially enchanted by the 'Elphin Jessore' restaurant, where the food was divine and the ambiance, truly magical. A low key budget hotel with the price of a 4* hotel: Front desk staff are poorly trained and horrible at their job. I booked from Agoda 4 weeks ago and requested for an airport pick up as I was landing at 11PM. They didn’t acknowledge the request until I sent them an email a day before. They refused a pick up without giving any reason. Upon discussion with front staff, they said we notify the guests 1-2 days before; in this case they not only failed to notify but upon follow up, left you in lurch at middle of the night. Imagine being an overseas traveller with no local phone/cash and a toddler with you. Rooms are decent size and well kept but the restaurant area is unkempt. You look up and gives you a feel of dilipiated place. Limited choices in breakfast buffet (apparently 500rs) and fruits are long cut/stored in fridge- lack freshness and quite gooey. Food is overpriced and not up to the mark. Likely the reason they don’t allow outside food. I will regret staying with them and would advise anyone against it. Hotel Shitnotel - check-in at your own risk.

I don’t know the standard of people who give 4 or 5 star for this 2star hotel. Exuberant price for 2 star hotel, they are literally charging for proximity to Airport that too not walkable You have to pay Rs500 to reach this hotel from Airport. No cab service to or from hotel to airport or for that matter to any place in Kolkata. They are just lucky to be surviving in Hospitality business without any competitors near by. Dirty room smell and they charged me extra bed cost for small kid without extra Bed. Leaky Bathrooms. Food and chef is ok. Front desk are not from Hotel Business.

It used to be a very good hotel but but overtime and probably during covid, the room interiors have gone down. the room size is decent but the cleanliness, the quality of beddings etc have gone down. in my case, the bedsheets were old and torn and the bed was moist. had difficulty sleeping. Apart from that, the location is very good, the staff are nice and they offer comfortable pick up and drop service too at reasonable price.
