We stayed in Hotel Volga for 1 night with family. We enjoyed our wonderful stay. The hotel is located on the main road with nearby quality outlets. The hotel has beautiful lawns and open spaces. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was very polite and concerned. I would love to stay in this hotel if I visit Pahalgam in the future.

We stays for 2 nights. First in single room and then in their cottage. Pros: cottage is in good condition with clean sheets, air conditioner for temperature control and great view of the park and surrounding mountains from the cottage. Management is very helpful and attentive. Great location. Cons: carpet in single room was smelly.

Hotel is clean. Rooms are clean. But few important things to be noted. Restaurant food quality very poor. Too saur and oily food. Room service most imp, male waters only and they are always peeing in the rooms. I told them what do you want, will call if we need you. Then they go. It looks very odd. Females are there changing or relaxing but still they peep in. The reception person , if the booking is not made by us. And they have not received payments they should contact the booking person and not to the guest . We told him to contact the booking person as he was know him but he was too reluctant to talk on the phone also and was telling us we won't allow you to check out. Atlast the booking person contacted him and then also I had to take the follow up if he has received the payment and then he allowed us to go.

When we reached , we had two room however the management was able to provide only one room which was not even cleaned. They tried to convince us to stay on another property. Upon argument Two room was suddenly available. I would say poor management and customer experience and hassle of discussion with management and rude behaviour. I expect better experience when it’s a three star property.
