I stayed in this hotel for 2nights in the last week of October during my Sikkim visit and booked by Travel Triangle. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff and were provided the rooms of our booking choice. Rooms were clean, well maintained, of premium decor and constantly serviced. Our rooms had the city and mountain looking view which looked amazing both during day and in night. Rooms had king size beds, extra beds were also provided based on our booking which were equally good, had study table, premium cushion chairs with tea table etc., bathrooms were clean, had rain shower and enough toiletry equipped. Complimentary breakfast provided in restaurant is decent but the dinner menu needs some improvement. A good open dining restaurant overlooking city and Mountain View made it refreshing to dine in chill weather. Of course the lawn is good too. The hotel scores five star rating for its ambience and cleanliness. The only concern I have with this hotel is the access route to this hotel. The path from the main road to this hotel is very narrow and steep, your nose several times during the walk to this hotel takes a hit with bad smell until you enter the hotel premises. If you are someone who would like to walk and explore definitely you will feel unpleasant on this road. Location wise it’s close to the happening Gangtok streets, cable car ride etc., Stay is definitely wonderful and would recommend but access road to this hotel definitely needs improvement.

During my second stay at Namnang from December 1st to 3rd, 2023, where we booked a Deluxe and a Premium View Room, I noticed a decline compared to our previous visit. While the initial experience was perfect, the breakfast choices had become limited for longer stays. Regrettably, the December visit was marred by inconsistencies, from check-in to service. We had to request essentials like toiletries and towels, a stark contrast to my prior seamless experience at the property. On the second day, despite submitting the key for room cleaning, I was surprised to find it untouched upon our return. The front desk responded promptly, rectifying the situation at 7 pm. On the day of check-out, an unexpected incident occurred when a staff member entered our room using a master key for cleaning while my partner was still getting ready. Although an apology was offered, such occurrences detract from the expected hospitality experience. Despite these challenges, the property, with its advantageous location for those with private vehicles, remains promising. Suggestions for improvement include upgrading beds and addressing maintenance issues, particularly with doors and bathrooms. Additionally, staff training is crucial to ensure a consistently positive experience. With attention to grooming and training, the property has the potential to elevate its overall hospitality standards. We are again planning to visit the place after some days hope to see everything got rectified and prompted, then it will only value my feedback as everyone one needs a second chance.

I would have given 5 stars but giving 4 because of the following reason. I had planned two day stay at the hotel. I had booked a premium view room but they gave me a room on the 2nd floor from where the view was partially blocked because of another building. After requesting a different room for the second day, they provided us with a good view room. Except this one issue everything was great. The hotel staff was very welcoming, good, and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place.
