Fantastic hotel, am really glad I chose it - just happened upon this hotel brand online. Great decor and vibe, friendly and helpful staff and a unique place as it used to be an old Victorian era customs house, and they did a great job of re-imagining the space. I definitely would stay here again, and would recommend it to friends.

The friendly front desk staff at 25Hours Altes Hafenamt was the positive highlight of an otherwise disappointing stay. I had to switch rooms mid-stay due to booking 'large' and 'medium' rooms on different platforms at different times. Despite willingness to stay in a 'medium' room for both nights, it wasn't possible due to the hotel being fully booked. This led to the hassle of a 7am check-out, bag storage, and late-night check-in on the 2nd day of my stay. No complimentary service, such as a free breakfast, was offered. Speaking of breakfast, at €24, it's overpriced for its mediocre quality. The breakfast price was not well-communicated or publicized either, and I thought it was included in the booking (silly me, read the fine print), so I paid €48 for 2 coffees and a bowl of plain yogurt (the other available offerings didn't look so great so I avoided them). The 'large' room was darker and not noticeably bigger than the 'medium' room - with the only key differentiating 'feature' being an oddly placed bathtub in the middle of the large room - I honestly should have booked the medium room in the first place (or booked somewhere else). Also, the AC didn't work properly in both rooms. Despite its 4.6-star rating, I rate this hotel 2 stars. Good service means handling difficulties effectively, and putting the customer at the center of every interaction, which wasn't my experience here.

I recently stayed here with my husband, where he is a platinum member. We've always had wonderful experiences. The first night we went to the bar together, and everything was simply amazing. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the next day when I visited the bar alone, my experience was completely different. The same lady who had been so pleasant the previous night was not nice at all. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and it left me feeling disappointed and confused. Next day I decided to request a table on the terrace. It was a quiet day, and the place seemed relatively empty when I arrived at 5 o'clock. To my surprise, when I asked the waitress if I could be seated, she bluntly refused. I was taken back by her response, as it seemed there was no apparent reason for the denial. This incident left me feeling frustrated and unappreciated as a customer. The hotel is gorgeous and well located. Every day we have beers, chocolate and water in the mini fridge. Not coffee provided. Dog friendly!

Excellent! Housed in a historic building, the hotel conveys a sense of respect for history while emphasizing a progressive approach to today. Little things are important here, and through them the perception of the world becomes more colourful. Great art book, free bike, vinyl records and treats for my dog. And this is just a few of the many things that made the stay in this hotel special.
