The room was big enough and bathroom is nice, but our family didn’t get to sleep comfortably due to the hardness of the bed. Breakfast was moderate but if you are not serious with breakfast then it’s fine. The hotel’s location is good. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel.

This is a new (less than 2 years old) hotel located just adjacent to the very desirable Mee Chok, Rimping Market complex that includes McDonalds, Subway, KFC and the locally famous Rimping Supermarket as well as many other ethnic eateries and shopping. This is where you want to be if you visit Chiang Mai and don’t want all the congestion and high prices of the “Old City”. Yet you are within a 10-15 minute Tuk Tuk, Red Truck (Song Tau) or Meter Taxi ride into the “Old City”. As Hemingway once described a location in Spain this hotel meets the requirements of being a “Clean well lighted place “. The room prices range from 850 to 1200 baht, at this time and include a decent Asian/American breakfast (About $27.00 USD total for room, breakfast tax etc). I highly recommend this Hotel and location for families and individuals who don’t want the overwhelming touristy “Old City “ (Dirty, Smelly, Crowded) environment on a 24/7 basis. Doi Suthep mountain is visible outside and a nice view from some of the rooms. If you want you can easily walk a few kilometers to the banks of the Ping River or ride a bike or rent a motorcycle if you enjoy taking risks. If you want to experience the “real” Chiang Mai Thailand then this is the perfect place for you.
