Abasa suites is a beautiful place to stay. Beautiful rooms and common areas, and all of the staff are very helpful and nice. It’s a bit away from the main city of Fira which makes it peaceful, but note you will probably need a car rental or taxi to get anywhere.

The suites were very close to the center of Firma. I was able to walk to town on the day I arrived, in 20 minutes. The staff is the typical warm, friendly, happy Greek staff who make one feel welcome and not a burden. I wish the whole world was like them. The host had a good laugh when she discovered I wanted the manual transmission rental. I learned on one so it was no big deal :) It was a nice chuckle. The rooms are clean, private, quiet, modern, and chic. I was very pleased considering the price. Very reasonable. Breakfast was included which they have each guest choose the night before. It was better than a cruise. The breakfast was fresh and ready at the time they promised. I really loved this place and if I ever return, will definitely stay here again. They made everything so easy.

Abasa Suites was the best! The location is slightly “rural” in the sense that it is not in the middle of the town, nor on the direct outskirts. To illustrate, Fira Square was a 5 minutes drive and a 15-20 minutes walk. This perfect location gives it a peaceful and serene atmosphere that is perfect for a quiet vacation. Tijana, the receptionist and manager, was super friendly! She gives you honesty, and recommendations from a local never hurts! She arranged airport transportation, car rental (if you want it), and the Catamaran experience for us; this was super helpful because she is able to communicate a million times better with these other companies and persons involved (not to mention a nice discount for the Catamaran). They prepare breakfast for you every morning, which was a pleasant surprise, and you get to fill out a paper every morning that lists what foods you want. The ladies who make breakfast also clean the rooms daily, and they’re all super friendly! I love the homely feel of Abasa Suites (including its friendly cat), and would not hesitate to go back again!
