Just finished a stay there from Thursday night to Sunday. Clean modern hotel when you enter. Seems fine. But then upon entering the room, the lack of decent light jumps out at you. There is no overhead or wall light. The room was so dark I couldn't even make-out the items in my suitcase to put them away. Tons of small lights in useless places, such as under benches. Like ambient uplighting for a bar mitzvah. it's all about ambience. Very odd. Staff came to open up the sofa bed, but there were no pillows. It was late and we just wanted to go to sleep so I gave my son one of mine from the bed. Tried to iron clothes in the bathroom because it was the only place I could see, but the iron didn't work. At least I thought. I tried 2 outlets. Finally I thought let me try one more outlet in the room near the bed, and the iron worked in that one, but of course it was impossible to see what I was doing because the room was so dark. The last night, the toilet became stuffed up. For 30+ years I have stayed in hotels and never stuffed up a toilet, until now. Staff tried to fix things as best they could when I responded to a text survey, (sent up a small lamp) but these things don't seem to be issues that can be fixed with better service. Disappointed. Attached a photo of the room that shows how dark it actually was. I would give it 2.5 stars

Nice, large, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Great bartender. What more could ask for? Fitness center was basic but good and clean. Valet parking is pricey but it's not much more than everywhere else and it is QUICK. A very nice stay.

No pool so it was nice to have a more adult- like hotel. Quiet. The rooms were nice. Didn't care for listening to the stomping from upstairs guest or the pillows, but overall nice stay. Bartenders were friendly & helped with restaurant suggestions.

I travel for work all the time and always know the room rate per night in advance when I book. Not so here. It turns out that the room rate I was quoted was just an "average" booking price per night but not what I was actually to be charged. Right after I checked in, I noticed a hold on my card that seemed way too high. I went directly to the front desk to see what was going on. The woman at the front desk said she would speak to the manager and he would call me back. He never did. So the next day I spoke to the front desk again and the woman, Cassidy, said that she would have the original rate honored by the manager, Mr. Hayes, and I had her put that in writing for me with her signature. After check out, I saw confirmation of the higher charge so I called Mr. Hayes, to find out what happened. He would not honor what his own front desk said nor would he honor the published rate. I don't think I've ever left a review anywhere but given how much I travel for work, I was quite stunned by the charges and the poor customer service

I am continously overcharged for parking (3 days instead of 1 which is considerable as parking is nearly $50 per night) and am not seeing this on my bill (coming up ok my Marriott credit card bill several days later). Please provide an email or contact info for someone I can directly reach to address this matter. Lots of turnover and younger staff likely contributing to errors.
