Room was nice, the listing and our reservation said our room came with a balcony which we did not get but ended up being a blessing in disguise with the construction going on. They got us confused with another reservation claiming we had to check out but did not communicate with the cleaning staff once the confusion was resolved and they just walked in. The water machines at their hydration stations were clearly not cleaned at all and got me sick which I am still recovering from 5 days later. There is no mention of a required $25/day resort fee which just gets added on until they tell you at check in. On a positive the bar staff in the lobby and at the pool were so friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations of places to go!

We stayed for 2 nites at the end of our cruise, and the staff was wonderful, the pool was wonderfully warm, with a nice lounge area and bar set up, the beach was just a block away, and the room was quiet and clean. The only drawback we noticed was only 2 elevators to be be used by all guests which did slow them down. Breakfast was standard but coffee (nespresso type fancy machine?)was available 24 hours, which,- when having to ck out at 4 am for our flight- was greatly appreciated. It was very windy the one day, and we had looked forward to sitting on the beach taking advantage of the provided lounge chairs, but alas, it was not meant to be. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. Firstly, they are putting up another building right next door, so that’s all you’ll hear. In addition if you’re oceanfront and on a low floor, you’ll get the pleasure of listening to the giant fan from Cafe Casablanca and the smell of fried food till probably after midnight. The breakfast is terrible, no variety and not worth the money, elevators are so slow and more than likely you’ll have to wait at least one other trip. Forget going to the pool, you’re literally looking at a building being built. It’s awful. Also small and often packed. Not reflective of the prices they’re currently charging. I also agree with another guest, the staff is not friendly or helpful and no one speaks English in housekeeping. They completely skipped our room one day, and they only changed our sheets after 5 days. Towels, were always short and on some days didn’t even take out the garbage. If you’re just looking for a place to crash perhaps this could be the spot, but not at those prices. When we reported our disappointment their suggestion was to come by the front desk to speak with management. The only thing that was good about this place was the location. Other than that not much else to it.

1. Check in - Greeter was very rude. They didn't have the room type I booked so they put me in a downgraded room and charged me more money for it. I had no options. 2. Sanitation, Room was dirty and the cleaning person didn't come to clean each day. When I asked about this, the "manager" told me that she isn't a cleaner so how is she supposed to control that situation. 3. Valet - made me drive my own car up and down the ramp, and still charged me full price 4. Customer service - I tried to resolve these issues directly with the "manager" but she lied and told me that she would call me in a few hours after I checkout as she had to talk to the supervisor. She never called me. I called back four days later and she was extremely rude and pretended to be a different person, despite having the same voice, name, and knew exactly about my situation. She said she would talk to hotel management and call me back by the end of the day. At the end of the day, I called them as I received nothing and she apparently was gone for the day. 5. Also, don't ask for fresh towels when they didn't clean your room, as they will respond with attitude and then never actually send them up, without having to call back multiple times. 6. Awful experience, awful rooms, management lied multiple times, do not stay here. 7. Oh and one more thing, do not book a "beachfront room", as these rooms have a direct view at a construction site for a new building next door, and the construction is loud and ugly to look at. If you lean over the balcony hard enough and look left with your binoculars, you might be able to see the beach.

Newer clean modern hotel about one block back from the ocean with views from the rooms. Lobby and bar area are great. Fitness room is well maintained. Pool area small but fine with outdoor bar. No hot tub. Only downside to this place right now is the well-documented construction going on right next door. It's loud and it is what it is for now. But it's a great location and hotel if you are willing to deal with the construction stuff.
